Javier Herrera

Javier Herrera was born in Granada, Meta, a historic town located about two hours from Villavicencio. He comes from a family with deep roots in the region and is the grandson of one of its founders, reflecting generations of history within the Colombian plains. A business administrator and passionate cyclist, Javier has traveled to GFNY events around the world, becoming part of the global GFNY family through his love for the sport and cycling community. His vision for GFNY Villavicencio comes from a desire to share the beauty, traditions, and strong llanero culture of the region with riders from around the world. When he is not riding, Javier enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, values that are also reflected in the welcoming and family oriented atmosphere behind the event.

Yaniber Gavilán Jiménez


Yaniber Gavilán Jiménez was born in Puerto Santander, a rural community within the municipality of Fuentedeoro, Meta. She holds a degree in Business Administration, a specialization in Senior Management, and is currently completing her MBA. For GFNY Villavicencio, Yaniber oversees public relations and strategic partnerships. Her leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to the development of the Meta region have made her a respected professional dedicated to creating opportunities and strengthening connections within her community.

Ricardo Díaz Garzón

Ricardo Díaz Garzón is a passionate cyclist, retired member of the Colombian Air Force, and Electronics Technician. He currently works as part of the maintenance team at Colombia’s Civil Aviation Authority. For GFNY Villavicencio, Ricardo leads event logistics, helping coordinate and execute the operational aspects of the race to ensure a successful experience for all participants.

Ruben Roncancio

Ruben Roncancio is a Computer Science student at Rutgers University with a passion for technology. As part of the GFNY Villavicencio team, he oversees social media, marketing, and digital communications, helping strengthen the event’s visibility and connect with the cycling community.

Miguel Daza

Miguel Daza is a Software Engineering student, content creator, and passionate cyclist. He is part of the GFNY Villavicencio team, audiovisual production, and graphic design. His work focuses on communicating the spirit of GFNY through creative and impactful content, enhancing the participant experience before, during, and after each event.
